Peter Ala Adjetey Hall

The Peter Ala Adjetey Hall is arguably the newest of the Halls of Accra Academy. It is named after one of Ghana’s finest gentlemen, a legal luminary, an astute politician and an avowed philanthropist. The Hall currently houses over two hundred and thirty students, making the most populated Hall on campus.

In spite of its newness, the Hall has carved a niche for itself in all fields over endeavor. In the area of academic work, its members stand tall by virtue of their share commitment to their studies. This was perfectly reflected in their impressive performance during the 83rd Speech and Prize Giving Anniversary. The Hall can boast of countless out–gone students from the Hall who are pursuing their dream programs in very reputable academic institutions.

The success story of the Peter Ala Adjetey Hall does not end here. The Hall is a force to reckon with in the area of good sanitation and cleanliness, coming either first or first runner up, as depicted by the results of the fortnight inspections.

The latest proof of the dynamism of the Hall could be confirmed by the fact that the members made a clean sweep of almost all the keenly contested prefectural positions, including the post of the school prefect for the 2014 / 2015 academic year.

Again in the area of resources, the Peter Ala Adjetey Hall is in a class of its own. The Hall can boast of a stand by generator, an ultra-modern ICT center and a well-stocked Hall library. These developments are but a reflection of the Hall’s motto that “Knowledge is Power”

Having been acclaimed through a students’ pool as the liveliest Hall on campus, the Peter Ala Adjetey Hall has become the toast of many students, an environment that combines both academic and social activities into a very perfect blend.
