A professional teacher for close to four decades with the following among other qualifications: Master of Public Administration, BA (Hons), Diploma in English, Certificate ‘A’ and Certificate in Conciliation and Mediation in Labour Disputes from ITC/ILO, Turin, Italy.

Specialised in the teaching of English Language and Literature in English. Has over the years served as form master, house master, chairman and/or member of several school committees, language organiser, assistant headmaster and substantive headmaster since February, 2002. Transferred from Ebenezer Senior High School to Accra Academy in May, 2005.

Current President of the African Confederation of Principals with headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya (2014 – 2016); was Vice President from 2012 to 2014: President of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) from 2007 to 2015. Has served or continuous to serve on boards/councils including; University of Ghana Council, West African Examinations Council, Narcotics Control Board, United Bank for Africa, Teachers Fund and Pentecost Vocational Institute.

Extensive educational tours to several countries including; Nigeria, Italy, China, Singapore, Uganda, France, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Kenya, United States of America, South Africa, Canada, Finland, The Gambia and Australia.
